Where to find us:
We are located in the downtown area of Porterville, California at 105 East Olive Avenue (on the Southeast corner of Olive and B Street).
What to expect on Sunday morning:
We gather together each Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. for our worship service. When you arrive, enter through the double glass doors at the front of the building where you will meet our friendly greeters. You’ll be given a visitor pack with information about our church and a visitor information form for you to fill out and return so that we can keep in touch with you. Before the service starts, free coffee and snacks are available in our coffee shop in the side foyer.
What is available for my children and teens?
Nursery care is available for ages 6 months through 3 years during our Sunday morning service. Children’s church is available for ages Pre-K through 6th grade. The children will start out in the main service with their families and then be dismissed to go to children’s church with their leaders during the announcements and can be picked up after church at the social hall across the alleyway from the main building. We have a youth group for grades 7-12 which meets on Wednesday nights from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Youth building across the street from our main building (during the summer, the meeting location varies – see the calendar page for meeting location).
Other opportunities to connect during the week:
There are multiple opportunities to connect with the ministries and people of the church throughout the month and week. We meet together at the church Social Hall on Wednesday nights at 6:00 p.m. for a Bible study (we will take a break during the summer and at Christmastime). Our women’s group has weekly prayer meetings and coffee meetups and occasional special events. The men join with other churches in the community for a monthly breakfast. We have a seniors’ group (ages 50+) that meets monthly. See the calendar page, other ministry pages on this website, and the printed weekly bulletin for more details.
